• Conspiracy wacko Alex Jones says Donald Trump is being secretly drugged:
Ladies and gentlemen, I was told this by high level sources and it was evident and especially after Reagan was shot in his first year in office when he was acting like Trump, and doing the right things, that he never really recovered. They gave him cold blood, and his transfusion that causes brain damage. They slowly gave him small amounts of sedatives. It’s known that most presidents end up getting drugged. Small dosages of sedatives till they build it up, Trump’s such a bull he hasn’t fully understood it yet.
• Wildfires continue to consume thousands of acres in the West:
Billows of thick black smoke and red-hot flames have consumed hundreds of thousands of acres in Montana, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California and Utah.
More than 24,000 firefighters have been battling 137 blazes, some for as long as six months, leaving experts shocked at the scale and duration.

“I really believe that Nevada can be the marijuana capital of the world,” said Nevada’s godfather of pot, state Sen. Tick Segerblom, D-Las Vegas. “And this will be one more thing in our toolbox.”

This tops Q1's total and represents an 8 percent year-over-year gain, GTM Research and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) said in the latest U.S. Solar Market Insight Report.
• The Edison Electricity Institute says Irma’s damage means utilities’ repair work is “likely to be one of the largest industry restoration efforts in U.S. history."
• Interview with Harvard prof who doesn’t hold back from calling Donald Trump a sociopath:
Why are so many psychiatrists and other clinicians afraid to comment about Donald Trump’s mental health? What is the role of the “Goldwater rule” — which holds that mental health professionals should not attempt to diagnose public figures they have not personally treated — in their relative silence? Is Donald Trump suffering from symptoms of mental illness? If so, what type of disorder does he exhibit, and what are the consequences for America and the world?
On today’s Kagro in the Morning show: Twitter was poised to explode with the latest on Russia’s leverage of Facebook, but then Ted Cruz happened. A look back at the Steele dossier, in light of all we’ve learned since. Seems there’s just no end to the overlap between Trump’s circle and Putin’s.
