Students across Florida walked out in a wave of demonstrations against guns on Wednesday, the day after the Florida House blocked an assault weapon ban (but took action against pornography). But it’s not just Florida. The activist survivors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have inspired something big.

And with the protests came the promise that, if the protesters can’t vote yet, they’ll be able to soon, and they’ll remember.
