Popular vote loser Donald Trump is perpetually in campaign mode, revisiting his "greatest" hits at the obnoxious rallies he has whenever he needs a jolt of MAGA fervor from his deplorables. He was on one of those themes in his latest rally in Elkhart, Indiana, touting the "great health plans" his administration is coming up with right away. Which probably came as a shock to his Republican Congress.
Trump told the crowd that Obamacare is [a] “failed experiment” then added “but wait till you see the plans we have coming out, literally, over the next four weeks, we have great health care plans coming out.”
That would suggest Trumpcare, another Obamacare "replacement" strategy. The administration is talking about doing something about prescription drug prices and also proposing a change to regulations to allow crappy health insurance plans that don't provide much in the way of coverage, so maybe that's what he meant.
Or maybe he's been plotting with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) against leadership to reopen the oozing Trumpcare wound.
Whatever it is, we'll keep fighting it.
Please give $1 to our Senate and House funds so that Republicans pay the price for sabotaging our health care.
