After going silent on the live stream overnight, the remaining militants have shared two new videos. The four remaining people have been identified as David Fry, husband and wife Sean and Sandy Anderson, and Jeff Banta. In the first video, David Fry can be heard saying they are upset that those who’ve voluntarily left the refuge have been arrested. He says one of the militants left overnight. He explains that people left because they “really weren’t willing to die. They had family members and obvious reasons.”
He goes on to say the FBI intends to arrest Sean Anderson due to a federal warrant, the same conspiracy charge that Bundy and the others are facing. They are concerned about a felony charge because that means you can’t vote and of course, “they take your guns away.” David Fry then made a comparison to Ferguson:
David Fry: It feels unfair because a lot of those rioters over there in Ferguson and what not, you know they went to the riot with intent of robbing and burning down cities. And everybody here came with intentions of of thinking it was, you know, a peaceful revolution. Uh, try to make a stand. And everybody brought guns, I guess, as self-defense measures, but obviously the fear of the FBI coming to kill them, they weren’t willing, they’d rather stay with their families. So a lot of people left. Um, they left with their guns here (laughter). So it’s crazy, pretty crazy.
He finishes by saying the FBI says it is safe to leave, but they are waiting to see what happens. Listen to Fry explain the situation and jump below for the even stranger video:
In the meantime, Sean Anderson—who was seen screaming into the camera yesterday for people to join them and kill any law enforcement that tries to stop them—has mellowed considerably. David shared a video of him dancing with his wife, Sandy, in a video titled “Maybe last dance. Husband and wife.”
