At the end of last week, Hillary Clinton’s popular vote lead over president-elect Donald Trump had reached 2.5 million. Today, that number has reached 2,620,649. Clinton has 48.2 percent of the vote and Donald Trump has 46.2 percent. One of those numbers continues to go up while the other continues to go down. I cannot tell you that a recount will change who will be inaugurated on January 20, 2017 but I can tell you this—Donald Trump will be a historically unpopular electoral college winner.
Campaign Action
This fact is one of the reasons that Donald Trump and Republicans everywhere continually peddle the lies of voter fraud. It also clearly bugs Trump to no end that he’s such a fraud, even as the victor in an election.
