Last night, Senator Sanders was called to the carpet for the various disingenuous things his campaign has been caught doing: the data breach, Nevada Culinary Workers Union impersonation, and an ad which is titled “Endorsement” with a line from a NH paper (seen above) stating“Endorsed By.”
The problem is, this paper has not endorsed either candidate.
Telegraph executive editor Roger Carroll posted on Twitter the afternoon of Feb. 3 that "For the record, despite @BernieSanders deceptive ad to the contrary, @NashuaTelegraph has not endorsed any Dem prez candidate #nhpolitics"
When giving his response about these issues, he stated that the other two were wrong and were dealt with. He didn’t seem to know about the ad/didn’t believe that it actually said what it says. It wasn’t a TV ad, only a web ad and merely went out under the title “Endorsed”. Well Senator, you are a liar. You have been caught, and you owe this newspaper, and its readers an apology.
I find it extremely alarming how he claims to be running a clean campaign, but all this is going on, seemingly, behind his back. People take their cue from the top, Senator. You truly are better than the smears you and your campaign are hurling around.
