A comment in a post I made recently regarding the Wikileaks story (New York Times) about DNC staff members discussing in emails, ways that they might conspire (yes!) to help Hillary Clinton defeat Bernie Sanders, suggested that it is just a “stupid” conclusion, seeing as said staffers were engaging in fantasy, and there is no actual proof that any such “undermining” actually took place.
Well, as an amateur even I can come up with at least 6 (six) verifiable acts of subversion:
1. The DNC’s policy of keeping the number of debates to an absolute minimum (6 in 2016 vs 26 in 2008: wholly absurd).
2. The DNC’s making sure that most of the debates took place at a time during the week which guaranteed the smallest number of viewers.
3. Their denying the Sanders campaign access to the DNC’s critical voter database, (which the DNC withdrew after the Sanders campaign sued them.) (New York Times Article)
4. The DNC doing whatever it could to prevent Independents from voting the in the primaries. (Greg Palast, Greg Palast (1))
5. The DNC’s counting of superdelegates as if they voted before the convention
6. The DNC’s surreptitiously funneling money to Mrs. Clinton’s campaign that was solicited for down-ticket candidates. (Politico)
I welcome any additions and/or corrections.
