Details remain sketchy, but according to reports, three Dallas police officers have been shot during an until-that-moment peaceful gathering of people who were in the street to protest the latest police shootings of Philando Castilo and Alton Sterling.
The three officers were shot by someone with a rifle and wearing body armor, according to a Homeland Security bulletin obtained by BuzzFeed News. The shootings occurred near a parking garage near El Centro College, according to the bulletin. Local media reported the officers were rushed to the hospital.

CNN is reporting that there were four officers shot and one has died and that this is still an active shooter situation.
