Cohen claims he could not have been at the meeting with Russian government officials in Prague, and he cites as proof the fact that he has no passport stamp for the Czech Republic in his passport.
Reince Priebus went on the Today Show this morning and parroted that very talking point.
Here’s the deal. The Czech Republic is a member nation of the European Union. As anybody who has traveled in Europe knows, when you go from one member nation of the EU to another member nation of the EU, your passport does not get stamped. One of the main reasons for forming the EU in the first place was to allow free movement between member nations!
The issue is so big for tourists who actually want all of those stamps in their passports that a simple google of the issue will give you guides on planning your travel in Europe so that you leave the EU and enter a nation that is not a part of the EU, then return to the EU through another member nation in order to obtain those desired passport stamps!
And the sad fact is, the stupid media is letting these liars get away with this talking point.
