Why does anyone who lives in the United States of America want to go to war with another citizen of this country? Is there any cause or reason for this? American’s are well armed. In fact, guns are easier to get now that the restrictions for the mentally ill have been lifted. Here are some statistics from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence www.bradycampaign.org/...:

This “man’ LaPierre invents lies like Trump and now he has created an enemy that totes nothing more than cardboard with clever slogans. Let's see how tough these guys are if they actually had to fight WITHOUT guns. Hand to hand, face to face combat. Like the safety of the internet, where people get in each other's business and insult one another because there is no actual person confronting or standing in their presence. The gun is a weapon that can kill anonymously...We have become a society of detachment to humanity. While I write this the utter irony of the arguments being made over Facebook no less proves my point. I have taken to speaking to strangers every day, much to the chagrin of my children, trying to connect on a humane basis. Listen, these people in "power" they don't really care about us. They preach, and lead anonymously from their bully pulpits to make money or self serve. If there is anyone out there willing to step back and say, "Wait a minute... Guns are for killing, politics is for discussion, but to mix the two over and over becomes the same damn result: pain and suffering. How many wars, how much oil, how many palaces, do we need? People in Syria are homeless and suffering and instead of showing compassion we show them anger, fists and fear, so when a Syrian or any other homeless person with NOTHING LEFT to LOSE is approached by a radical and says, "See they don't care about you, but I do..." Then guess what? The narrative continues down the path of pain, and suffering and hate and fear.
Call me a liberal, call me whatever you want, but first and foremost call me HUMANE.
