With an assist from his friends at Fox, Donald Trump and his friends at Fox have come up with a new ridiculous theory about who is organizing the sustained protests against the dangerously incompetent Trump and the cruel Republican agenda. It wasn’t enough to spend 8 years promoting the idea that he wasn’t even an American, now President Barack Obama is responsible for the anger toward Trump and the Republican agenda. Seriously. Of course, this is something the editors at Steve Bannon’s website have been claiming for weeks now. Once again, Donald Trump is accepting and promoting the conspiracy theories of alt-right extremists.
Short video and transcript below:
Fox & Friends: Can we talk about President Obama? You said you personally get along with him. You guys were going at each other for three, four, eight years. It turns out a lot of his people are organizing, do you think he is behind it?
Trump: No, I think he is behind it. I also think it’s politics. That’s the way it is.
Fox & Friends: Bush wasn’t going after Clinton, Clinton wasn’t going after Bush.
Trump: Well, you never know exactly what’s happening behind the scenes. You’re possibly right but you never know. But I think President Obama’s behind it, because his people are certainly behind it. And some of the leaks possibly come from that group. You know, some of the leaks, which are really very serious leaks, because they’re very bad in terms of national security, but I also understand that’s politics. And in terms of him being behind things, that’s politics, and it will probably continue.
Can these people ever take any responsibility for anything? The simple truth is that the American people reject the popular vote loser and the gerrymandered wins of Congressional Republicans, who seem intent on dismantling our social safety nets, public schools and environmental regulations. People like health care and clean water. Is it really that hard to connect the dots? Apparently it is if you are drinking that Fox Kool-Aid.
