In a recent story, first-time Daily Kos author Go Local Go Cooperative described the three R's: Resist, Rebel, and Revolt.
The Three R’s
- Resist: The immediate actions. Protests, town halls, phone calls, etc., as organized by MoveOn, Indivisible, and other groups.
- Rebel: The electoral components. Running for office, campaigning, GOTV efforts, becoming a precinct delegate.
- Revolt: The long-term efforts to change our culture. Writing and enacting new legislation and the “development of organizational and movement infrastructure.” [here.]
Three Arguments to Bypass Global Warming
“When I’m talking to a denier/skeptic I basically ask them:
- Does water pollution exists?
- Does air pollution exists?
- Does the soil get contaminated from man’s actions?” [John Crapper in a Daily Kos comment.]
I am not a particularly good arguer, because I do not think quickly. But I think I can remember those questions: Earth, air, and water.
What Am I Doing for the Climate March?
I am going to the march. I am spreading the word about the march via email, FaceBook, and meetups. I am one of the members of the team coordinating this Climate March blogathon.
One of the great things about going to a march or event is meeting people with similar views of reality. I plan to meet people, make contacts.
Question of the Night: What Are You Doing for the Climate March?
