Jesse Watters has long been Bill O’Reilly’s protégé, starring in his own “Watters’ World” segments during The O’Reilly Factor, which were recently spun off into his own show. Fox gave him the show even as there was widespread outrage over an extremely racist segment mocking Asian Americans in New York's Chinatown.
And now, not even a week after Bill O’Reilly was fired from Fox News amidst an ongoing investigation into numerous sexual harassment claims, after the head of the network was forced to resign over sexual harassment claims, after dozens of women have come forward complaining of rampant sexual harassment at the infotainment network—after all of that, Jesse Watters, rising star at Fox News, thought it was appropriate to make this on-air comment about Ivanka Trump:
Gross. Fox News boys will be boys, amirite? Has anyone at Fox News learned their lesson yet? Will management send a message and suspend Watters? How are his female co-workers supposed to feel if he gets away with these types of comments on live television? What message does this send them?
