When you go to your military graduation to hear an uplifting commencement speech from your commander in chief, it's this type of line that truly inspires:
“No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly.”
That was part of longer rant in which Trump assured U.S. Coast Guard cadets he was addressing Wednesday that they would not always be treated fairly, but that they should "fight, fight, fight" anyway and eventually they would win. "That's why I won," he concluded.
Really, read this excerpt and go ahead and psychoanalyze Trump. He's not even talking about the cadets—perhaps he’s forgotten he’s even there. He's wallowing in his own mistreatment, then celebrating himself for rising from the ashes like a phoenix, against all odds.
