I have never heard so many pundits, and common folk, point at the White House after a tragedy as I have this weekend.
Maybe it’s just me, I feel an anger at this situation beyond what we have felt before.
I feel like we have lost our collective patience.
I wrote this paragraph 4 years ago, about something thousands of miles away, and somehow it seems appropriate to send it out now:
….a revolution has its moment. Whether it is the Arab Spring, or the Occupy Movement, or Ten Days That Shook the World, there is a time when a spark hits some kindling and a time, or place, ignites. Whether the flame becomes strong, or withers without additional fuel, or gets put out, violently, always remains to be seen.
I see the spark, the tragic, horrific spark. Let’s see if we can find some kindling and get some things done….
