Yesterday was a big loss for Donald Trump. The 11th Circuit completely unraveled Judge Cannon’s and Trump’s attempt to block the FBI 3-0. The decision wasn’t even close.
He lost the Supreme Court 9-0. In a shadow docket ruling, they stepped aside, handing the Democrats Trump’s taxes.
A New York judge has set an October 23, trial date for tax shenanigans.
Judge Alina Habiba, who represented Trump before, is sure he isn’t representing Trump again and Trump should notify his current lawyers of that fact.
New York’s Survivor’s Law for rape victims goes into effect shortly. E. Jean Carroll is going to file another lawsuit against Trump under that law, but he’s already testified under her first lawsuit so he can’t get away from that testimony.
The DOJ is working on the Mar-a-Largo case. Pretty sure they will have something shortly. Taking time to build a bullet-proof case — one that will stand up against the Supreme Court — is what good lawyers do. Many never get another chance at that particular case/defendant.
