Funny tidbit earlier from Politics NJ.com, we see proof that if a voter is still undecided on election day,
you don't want to know what they will make their decision on
Here's a chance for either Corzine or Forrester to pick up an extra couple votes. An e-mailer says:
"I'm voting around 5:30 p.m. Here is my sole issue: What is Forrester and/or Corzine's favorite rock band? In all the hubbub over who they're dating or formerly married to, no one has answered this question."
The undecided voter added that if one of the candidates picks one band in particular, he can get his "wife and two girlfriends to vote for them too." (Not clear if he means the girlfriends of his wife, or girlfriends of his own).
So there it is, Forrester and Corzine campaigns. Got an answer for the man?
Proving how quick if not hip it is, the Corzine campaign was right there with an answer:
Corzine strategist Tom Shea reports that his candidate's favorite rock band is The Band. "Although we are rockin' some Cream," he adds. No word from Forrester land yet. Not sure if Corzine's answer willsatisfy the undecided voter (who is from Burlington County), but The Band is not the band that will deliver the man's wife and girlfriends as well.
Me thinks they cheated. Me thinks they did some sampling quick and got that independent males listen to classic rock and might be leaning Forrester while they are 'rockin some Cream'
Now, myself, I would have preferred that Corzine choose...Death Cab for Cutie Yeah I know, he might lose some independent older females or something, but man, it would have been cool. You know, come on Jon...throw the long ball, man..
No answer from Forrester camp yet. They are desperately searching the HQ for somebody hip....
I think Corzine's gonna win here, but if Forrester comes out with 'The Postal Service' or something, it could throw this thing wide open..
