....and it comes with an 8x10 glossy of the President and his consort. I put it up on the fridge so I'd lose my appetite before opening the box.
By the way, I don't know why I'm getting mail from the Repugs, and I don't know why I'm getting telemarketed by the GOP to support whatserface from Los Altos for Senate. Should I be blaming anyone here who made me link to the Freep?
Anyway, nothing remarkable in the letter, except a smear on Howard Dean, but Kerry and Gephardt have already done that so who cares? A couple paragraphs of interest:
We will need to build this strong grassroots team because of the vicious attacks we're already facing from our Democrat [sic] challengers. Their rhetoric has amounted to nothing more than political hate speech. Wesley Clark has called President Bush "unpatriotic." Howard Dean has gone so far as to suggest a theory that President Bush knew of the terrorist attacks before 9/11.
Then there's a paragraph about our sugar daddy, George Soros, but just stating his plans, not trashing him. Then:
President Bush is relying on you and other friends to help turn back these Democrat [sic] assaults and elevate the political debate for his positive, optimistic agenda for America
*an agenda that continues the War on Terrorism and protects the homeland,
*an agenda that strengthens the economy and creates new jobs,
*an agenda that makes it possible for every American to own a home, health and retirement plan and, if they want, their own business, and
*an agenda that focuses on results in schools so every child learns to read and no child is left behind.
But the liberal national media won't deliver this message to the American people. They have their own agenda. blah blah blah...
Just thought you'd like to know what they were up to.
