Well, according to
an IRS report, the average income for Americans fell for the second year in a row, to a tune of 9.2% when adjusted for inflation.
Since Bush's famed tax cut provides on average $226 for the bottom 80%, or just $217 for the median taxpayer, who makes $42,228 a year. That person will potentially lose $3884.97 this year. I've seen another report elsewhere that claims the bottom 80% loses on average $11,000 or so a year to the Bush economy.
So while all these morons cry about how Democrats want to raise taxes, they would only do so in such a way that could potentially increase our income exponentially, unlike Bush who has caused us to exponentially lose money while giving us a tax cut at the same time.
On an unrelated note, dailykos.com seems to be crashing or something, the first time I previewed part of the html for the diary form was included in my text, and now I found "ARRAY(0x858051c)" pop up. Very odd.
