After reading that somewhat bizarre WaPo editorial today by a 'learned' professor who has trouble understanding why W is so loathed by "so many thoughtful people", I had to send a letter to the editor. Since chances are slim my complaint will be published, here it is for my many thoughtful friends:
WaPo Editorial
To The Editors:
I am used to reading opinion pieces with which I do not agree, however one line in today's Op-Ed by Gary Alan Fine stood out as beyond comprehension. "Bush's administration is free of scandals", according to Mr. Fine.
I do not believe it should be my responsibility to point out how ridiculous such a statement is. Is this not the job of an editorial board?
Sincerely,
(lono)
