So the problem with Kossacks is that we're just not opinionated enough, you know? You get a whole group of us together and we don't know what to talk about.
Ha.
I can't speak for the rest, but I had a great time. With a wide ranging discussion of local and state politics (our primary is just a few weeks away), old movies, new movies, firemen wearing thongs (for some reason that part of the conversation really sticks in my mind), um . . . where was I? Oh yeah, having some beers with my new non-pixelated friends.
We'll start out with what I saw on my way to the get-together, the Seattle contingent of the RNC (he seemed pretty lonely):
Ok, I'm still a little fuzzy on handles, real names, etc. And some folks wished not to be identified, so I'll just leave it to the others to out themselves if they wish.
But first, here's IsraelHand's secret security badge from Saturday's rally in Tacoma. We were all very jealous, and he had some terrific Kerry stories that I hope he'll eventually share here.
And without further ado, the Seattle dKos contingent that had time in their schedules to come. fblau also took some shots, and he's a real photographer, so hopefully you'll get to see those, too, in the comments to this diary.
We decided that next time we'll all go south. There are supposedly some great airline pilot bars down around Sea-Tac.
