One issue that the Kerry camp has been awfully silent on is the high price of gasoline.
The higher price of gas is another byproduct of Bush's mismanaged war effort. How could Chimp not foresee that fuel prices would rise and put a damper on the economy? If Bush had waited to wage war, he could have filled the Strategic Petroleum Reserves at better prices. At present the US is in competition with the military and the rest of the world as consumers. Chimp still would have been helping his oil buddies, but not on such a gross scale.
Is the high oil price and it's negative effect on the economy kryptonite? Can Kerry use the subject to his his advantage during the remainder of the campaign?
