cnn.com talking about how John Edwards refused to cross a picket line of firefighters who are protesting contract negotiations with the city of Providence, Rhode Island. And, in the process, did not attend a fundraiser that might have netted $500k for the campaign.
I loved this:
"Once the campaign learned there would be a picket line at the event due to a contract dispute with the city, we canceled this trip," said Kim Rubey, a spokeswoman for Edwards. "John Edwards does not cross picket lines."
Now, tell me again which campaign gives a shit about making sure American workers -- including first responders -- are treated fairly, and which one doesn't.
