He should go for broke and have some fun with it. He has to defuse it, not be serious sober.

Regardless, this is a pretty big score; between the Sawyer interview and this, his team has put together what looks like a media strategy with great potential. Now Dean just needs to deliver.
Final note: remember that Sawyer made Bush look like a complete idiot on Iraq when she interviewed him (last month?). Maybe she's a Dem, and hey, maybe she's a Dean Dem to boot. The upside if that's the case is huge.

Don't doubt it.
Actually- a lot of big-time journalist (to use the term loosely) are:
Baba Wawa (married to John Warner R-VA)
Bush will be impeached.

I want Warner to get in some big, big sex scandal that would absolutely merit a Baba interview- except- whoops!

The Sawyer thing makes sense. I don't think this does.

Hopefully they have a private jet rented and will do last minute debate prep in flight. In my experience of organizing, though, I think doing one thing after another actually helps (not your voice though). You get into the swing and just keep on swinging. He'll either be on or off. But with Sawyer, Letterman, and the debate he can potentially swing things hard and fast to his favor. Or sink. To me, no reward without risk.
