What the heck happened here? MSNBC has some actual information on one of their pages.
This page has information sure to be of interest to the Kos-monauts.
MSNBC calls the electoral race:
Kerry: 200 (168 solid, 32 leaning)
Bush: 217 (172 solid, 45 leaning)
Toss-up: 121
This seems more realistic than the sites (cough*electoral-vote.com*cough) that show wildly unrealistic swings in the electoral totals based on BS polls.
Interestingly, the page also has fund-raising figures for the campaigns:
Total Raised as of Sept 20 -
Kerry: $304,028,394
Bush: $243,656,202
Nader: $2,202,558
Spent
K: $182,467,480
B: $207,994,857
N: $2,034,885
On Hand:
K: $121,560,912
B: $111,382,810
N: $173,299
Kerry has raised more and spent less than Bush, and now is positioned to rapidly respond to Bush attacks or attack Bush gaffes (like the entire last four years). Ralph Nader has enough money to take a taxi home and order a pizza but that's about it.
This page might be old to some, but I think it might be a good page to bookmark.
