It's Midnight in Ohio, and I'm finally home. 18 hours non-stop on the campaign trail, and I wanted to stop in and say thank you before my head hits the pillow.
A few days ago, I asked the blogosphere to propose ideas for our "Campaign Manager For A Day" promotion. I was "firing" my manager for the day today, and I wanted YOU to plan my day as you saw fit. The response we got was incredible.
Wednesday, we posted your suggestions and began taking votes on how my schedule should be laid out. Our site took well over 200,000 hits and my schedule was completed at Midnight last night, 24 hours ago.
Now, after completing my day (that began at the Timken plant around 6am, finishing with an AFL/CIO karaoke party 15 minutes ago) I'm home again and I'm VERY grateful for your help. The full report, complete with pictures, will be published on my website Friday morning. As I write this, the pictures are being uploaded to our server. You will be able to read the entire story at
http://www.jeff04.com
Also, Malia Rulon of the Associated Press will have a national story about our day tomorrow, and Fox News is calling us about running a story.
So again, I thank you for your support and I'd like to extend my regards to all of you. I beleieve we were the first ones to pen up our campaign in such a way, and yet it was such an amazing success. I owe that to all of you.
Full details tomorrow.
Must.
Sleep.
Now.
Goodnight,
Jeff Seemann
