I've been involved in an intense grassroots voter registration drive organized by our local democratic club. So far we've registered over 2500 new democrats in our small city. This is our last weekend of voter registration in California, and lately we've had a growing number of young first-time voters approach us hoping to learn details about John Kerry's plan for increasing military troop size without enforcing a draft. They want specifics. So, I've been trying to get specifics from the Kerry campaign this week, but so far I've been met with a certain amount of hostility and defensiveness on the part of the phone workers I've spoken with. They've repeatedly directed me to Kerry website articles which haven't been at all illuminating with regard to a specific plan to increase troop size. They just say he will, they don't say how. I want to be able to give these young people the information they want. Can anyone reading this help me out?
