These are not easy times for Mr. Delay these days. People are more and more outspoken about their displeasure with their representative these days. This is really big. 18 months ago, if you were not a true blue republican, you were the enemy. You don't hear that these days. My how times have changed.
Just for your information, Delay has just bought $500,000 worth of advertising for the next 12 days.

This a little bit from the
Brazoria Facts
DeLay is so out of touch and so arrogant in his sense of entrenched power that he didn't even return candidate questionnaires to statewide groups such as the League of Women Voters.
A defeat for DeLay would go a long way toward persuading others that there are limits to the level of corruption that even the most partisan district will accept. Morrison could bring back some much-needed sense to the district and end the vicious bipartisan gamesmanship.
The Fort Bend Star is Tom Delay's home town newspaper. This is definitely a unendorsement of Delay. Maybe a little nonendorsement endorsement of Richard. Just a little snippet to peak your interest.
I don't know if a majority of Fort Bend residents can bring themselves to vote for Democrat Richard Morrison this time. But I'm serving notice on you that if not this year, then we MUST recruit a viable Republican before the next primary. I can't believe we can't find some Republican with enough guts to take on this little Napoleon. After all, "He's five foot seven in high heels and he can kiss my a--."

Last but not least a comment from an email sent out by Michael Fjetland, the independent candidate. Just an interesting tidbit, Michael is a republican from Iowa. He is somewhat more liberal than Richard, but too liberal to get elected as a republican in this area.
Yesterday at the polls, I was running into Republicans who were voting only for Mr. Bush
and no one else, or voting for all Republicans except DeLay.
