We're holding our own in Florida
Fla. Secy of State Glenda Hood complains that voters are being harassed at polling places all over Central Florida.
The problem is a glitch in the law, which forbids campaigning within 50 feet of a polling place, but doesn't say anything about public early-voting places like libraries, which are also traditional campaigning places that value free speech.
Glenda Hood is a thugwhore, she's Katherine Harris' replacement, she screwed over Orlando when she was mayor and now her job is to screw America out of a fair presidential election.
If she's complaining, that's probably a good sign. It probably means significant Democrat majorities among the huge numbers of early voters (18,000 in one week in one location in Orlando).
And it means Democrats aren't putting up with any thug crap. Here's the link to the story, it's in The Orlando Sentinel (reg, req).
The worst that can happen is gated community Security Moms will stay home to avoid the riff-raff.
I personally believe that voting rights are sacred, and I'm close enough to the GOTV and Dem organizations here to know that any anti-thug intimidation that's going on is organic, welling up in the hearts of right-thinking people who want to save this country from disaster and not plotted out by managers.
So I thought I'd share this moment of glee.
