I really enjoyed the Diary entry about the Battle for the GOP in the wake of the election:

But, I thought that it missed a key point -- what the Chamber of Commerce and the Corporate Roundtable will do if Kerry wins.
Their alliance with the GOPs is uncomfortable. Business leaders generally don't like idealogues. They are not natural allies with the religious right (who basically don't believe in a secular, free market). They're only in the game because the GOPs have such a lock on power.
If Kerry wins and breaks the lock, a fair bit of the money is going to flow away from the GOP and back to the Dems and that will really hurt Delay as the flow of money has really brought all the folks to the table. GOP has been all about the upside lately.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when the flow of money starts to decrease to the GOP power elite. I think we'll see infighting and a breakdown in the house that Delay built
