We had be ready to deal with.
The following predictions are things I suspect will be big issues in the comming weeks.
These are all things that I belive have been diliberatly downplayed to prop up Bush, and when the election is recorded and they can no longer influence the vote, they issues will all return to reality.
- Gas Prices: With the MASSIVE increases in crude oil prices, uncertainty in supply, uncertainty in the middle east, and a long distiguished history of using exactly these events as an excuse to gouge prices, gas prices have been REMARKABLY steady. (gee you don't think big oil might artifically hold down prices to save their golden goose, do you?)
- Rumbles out of Iraq, VERY carfully not being reported, seem to indicate that we have gotten CLOBBERED the last few weeks. Only anicdotal, as there is vertually NO current reports from Iraq, but it feels like in about two to three weeks, we start seeing reports that we are getting our asses kicked over there, big time.
- With bond rates rising, and all other economic indicators pointing towards major interest rate hicks, BEYOUND THE POWER OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE to control, Greenspan with a SEVERE history of deliberatly using intrest rates in a partisan attempt to sway elections, Intreset rates may well go skyward starting next week or the week after.
These prediticions are reguardless of who wins, but If Kerry wins, the glee with which those who benifit from these increases pursue them, may be TRULY sickening.
These predictions as always are likly to be contriversial.
