If you look
here you can see a number of counties that allowed early voting. Note that a number of those counties are listed as
having 0% of their precincts counted. We can conclude then that the results being reported by Florida right now
do not include early voters.
Recall that polls show that approximately 1/3 of registered Floridians have already voted, and early voters favored Kerry approximately 51 to 43. That gives Kerry a big cushion even though the current Florida results are tilting Bush.
Some premature calculations: (Kerry's Early Voting Lead) x (30% of registered voters) - (Bush's Current Lead) x (50% of precincts reporting) = 2.4 - 2.25 = 0.15 = Kerry is actually leading!
Oh yeah, and Miami-Dade has not reported at all, but Duval is 85% done!
