Bring on the next four years!
Wait, you say? Well, in the event that Bush has won, then the Republicans will have all the rope they need to hang themselves up for good on.
This gives us the rare opportunity to rework, reorganize, recruit. We have amassed the finest and brightest of this nation. While the Republicans have galvanized their base, we have been scouring for new talent, and have not come up for want.
The next four years will test the nation, will test us, and we need to remember we do NOT eat our own kind, so we are way ahead of the game.
We had a huge turnout for new voters-we need to keep contact with those who supported Democracy, they are ours.
We need to galvanize our base, and intitiate continued action.
We need to invest in our own people, businesses, and initiate a progress corps. A unified front for change through action.
We have the beginnings, but this has to go much further. We need to educate, inititiate, and focus on our strengths.
We also need a base of operations at the local levels, and support structures, as well as investment.
We need to provide not just an antithesis to the Republican party, but a working dynamic that is new to politics, flexible to all party concerns, and a successful model for growth.
We can become the party of strength, but we need to work from inside.
