I have had enough. I admire those on this board and other Kerry supporters, who want to continue the fight.
But you guys don't seem to get it. It's not the matter of how Kerry ran his campaign, personally, I thought he ran a strong one, it is not about whether the youth vote came out, which I think they did, it's not even the matter of moral values, don't fall for that bullshit media spin.
On November 02, 2004, more Kerry people went to the polls to vote but something happened along the way.
Ohio- Republican counties had electronic voting machines. Kerry would never catch Bush because the paper ballots are a finite number, whereas the Repubs EVotes can just trickle in when needed.
Florida- supposedly 3.8 million republicans voted for Bush in 2004, where did they come from??? 30 counties used e-voting machines.
Popular Vote- how is it that Bush was still winning by approx. 3 million votes after California totals.
Anecdotes go on and on....
Republicans outsmarted the Dems again.
Until DEMS are willing to face the EVote problem and demand a strict standards for these machines, you will continue to get results that don't jive with the exit polls in key states.
They have systematically engineered this election.
Until we demand elections that are above third world standards, the next step will be complete lost of the Senate, in 2006, which then gives Repubs the majority to put whoever the hell they want in the Sup. Court and shove their agenda down our throats...
The DEMS did get the message out and had an extraordinary ground operation. But the problem still remains the e-voting machines.
Until we resolve this issue, we will continue to not win it!
