FRUM: I speak as someone who is a medium observant Jew, not a Christian. I worked in that administration for a year or more, and I never felt a moment of discomfort, or a sense of--never mind discrimination--even a sense of being looked at as someone from an alien point of view. I found the people there to be extraordinarily accepting and tolerant of all kinds of differences in human nature and this administration has been an extraordinarily diverse one--not only racially, I think it's obvious to the eye, but from a religious point of view, from a background in the party, and so---
Scott Simon: I have to ask - sexual orientation too? There are gays in the administration?
FRUM: There are gays in the vice president's family. And one of them was on the stage at the President's acceptance speech with her long-time companion. So yes to that one as well.
So, two questions:
1. When is Lynne Cheney going to open up her can of whup-ass on Mr. Frum?
and
2. who are the other gays in the veep's family?
