Cleveland ACT tidbits

In the last three days, 5000 volunteers have knocked on 500,000 doors, whether canvassing or dropping lit. The fired up youth at the Hilton Independence (S. Cleveland) were setting up doorhanger packs at the rate of 1000/minute. The guy with the tree branch with dangling apples taped to his head won the costume contest.

•  ACT Rocks!

  Spent most of today at the Columbus, Ohio ACT office - it was HUMMING all day!  Phonebanking - every cube full.  Canvassing - waves were heading out all day door-knocking and lit dropping.  There were dozens of us at HQ labelling, data-entrying, phonebanking, etc.  The parking lot was jampacked - a glorious sight to behold!

  Will be back there at 9 tomorrow morning - better hit the hay!
