Yo.
I've heard talk of a number of dKos meetups being planned around the country, but I still think a national meetup/convention would be a blast--and productive, to boot.
I'm not the first to make that suggestion, probably not even the tenth. And yet, it doesn't seem to have happened.
Why is that?
I'm willing to pitch in with the organization. Who else will help? Who else will come? Who else will keep Bill in Portland sober long enough to deliver the first live version of Cheers & Jeers?

Update [2004-11-10 15:58:31 by pastordan]: The FIBs (sorry, reflexive for this former 'Sconnie) have swayed me with the reasoning for Chicago: it's inexpensive both to get to and once you're there, Kos likes (he can see family while he's there), there's plenty of good beer available, and if we plan it right, we might be able to take in a Cubs or White Sox game. So let's move to round 2: anyone have any good reason why we shouldn't have it in Chicago?
That the Bears suck is not good enough.
I've created a dkosopedia page for anyone who wants to sign up to help. I'll also harvest addresses from volunteers below and send out a mass e-mail.
Anything else? I still don't have any drink orders!
