What Went On In Warren County ,OH Behind Closed Doors?

Thu Nov 11, 2004 at 10:40:50 PM PDT

Noticed this in the update article.

There is also a massive twist in Ohio.  The county of Warren, which did it's vote count in secret, claiming the FBI had warned them they had to because they were under terrorist threat... well, their alibi has crumbled.

As Olbermann reports: "The FBI did not notify anyone in Warren County of any specific terrorist threat to Warren County before Election Day," FBI spokesman Michael Brooks told Enquirer reporters Erica Solvig and Dan Horn."

I mean, what could they possibly have been doing....um, boosting Bush's vote count perhaps?

Were they a 'central tabulating center'??
Can someone answer that very simple question??

Who was in there? We need affidavits affirming what went on behind closed doors.

Let's get it going. This could be ground zero.
  •  Sorry to be a downer... (none / 0)

but this has been analysed to death.  Was it really worth a diary all on it's own?
  •  What the fuck went on in there? (none / 0)

yeah, but what the fuck went on in there?
  •  who counted the vote (none / 0)

Is there information available as to who was counting the votes?

Were there dems present? Actual dems, or Zell Millerites?

And if you need anything...there's some ants.

  •  Names of who was in there? (none / 1)

That's my point. We need names and sworn statements as to who was in there behind closed doors ,counting votes during a fake terrorism alert.
  •  What happened to the 8 million Gore Voters? (none / 1)

How 2004 Voters Voted in 2000

Using the 2004 Exit Poll Data you mentioned, the exit poll data adjusted to reflect the final election results, you will notice that there are almost 8 million Gore voters missing in the 2004 election according to the exit poll results.

    In 2004, there were:

    19,801,997 people who didn't vote in 2000
50,087,404 who had voted for Bush in 2000
43,098,464 who had voted for Gore in 2000
3,494,470 who had voted for another candidate in 2000

In 2000, Bush received a little over 50 million votes.  Gore received almost 51 million votes.

But on the 2004 exit polls, we see that only 43 million people who voted in 2004 said that they had voted for Gore in 2000. So, the question is ... where did the other 8 million Gore voters from 2000 go? Why wouldn't they have voted in this election? Or did they? And if they did .. are the exit polls so flawed that they're the reason for the missing 8 million Gore voters or are the election results the problem?

If you look at the Bush vote, in 2004 Bush got 45.6 million of his 2000 vote plus 4.3 million of the Gore 2000 vote plus over 700,000 people who had voted for "other" in 2000 plus 8.9 million people who had not voted in 2000.

However, if you look at the Kerry vote, he got only 38.8 million of the Gore vote. And Bush only got 4.3 million of the Gore vote.  But yet, we know that Gore got almost 51 million votes in 2000. So, where are these almost 8 million missing Gore voters?

Note: The difference in the actual 2004 votes and the estimated 2004 votes are due to rounding since the exit poll numbers were reported in whole percents on the CNN website.

  •  Warren County, Ohio Data (none / 1)

Bush's Vote Margin Widened Considerably from 2000:
                                  2004       2000     Increase
    VOTES
    Bush/Bush             66,523     48,318
    Kerry/Gore            25,399     19,142
    All Votes Cast        93,231     70,109     33.11%
    Bush Vote Margin   41,124     29,176     40.95%
    Reg. Voters          125,165     96,536     29.66%

The 2004 Bush vote margin over the Dem Candidate increased from the year 2000 by 11,948 votes.

Census 2000 indicates that there were 114,511 people living in Warren County above the age of 18.

If you look at the precinct data for Warren County, you will see many precincts where the turnout exceeds 80%.  Now that's some turnout. Every 8 out of 10 people of voting age and registered in those precincts voted.

16,803 of the 28,629 newly registered voters were registered after March 2004 but before November 2, 2004

  •  Highest % of Bush Votes amongst....... (none / 0)

    From Brad Blog

Citing "homeland security concerns", Warren County, OH was alone in locking out media from their counting of ballots on Election Night. They were amongst the last to report their tallies that night, and according to Ohio's Election Night website Warren County ended up having the highest percentage of Bush votes amongst all of Ohio counties that had a total vote turnout greater than 22,500.

    Warren 92,251 votes - Bush: 72.1% Kerry: 27.53%

There were only four counties with a higher percentage votes for Bush, and they all had 22,279 voters or less:

    Mercer 20,058 votes - Bush: 74.89% Kerry: 24.55%

    Putnam 18,631 votes - Bush: 76.20% Kerry: 23.34%

    Holmes 10,976 votes - Bush: 75.61% Kerry: 23.89%

    Auglaize 22,279 votes - Bush: 73.78% Kerry: 25.71%
