Padding Bush's OH Numbers - Bust em'

Fri Nov 12, 2004 at 03:40:22 AM PDT

THEORY

How bizarre that the last county reporting in OH would have a fake terror alert to keep out prying eyes. Being last to report, Warren County officials knew how many provisional ballots there were. So on directions from ROVE they padded Bush's totals by some thousands to make it seem that Bush had an insurmountable lead. One that could'nt be made up by those provisionals, thus discouraging any doubts about the outcome.Bush got around 18,000 more votes there in 2004 than he did in 2000.Some precincts in Warren County recorded voting rates at more than 80% of registered voters, a very high number. So by giving Bush those extra votes they were delivering him OH putting him over 270 electorates, which gave him the presidency.

info from Jon B Good

Warren County, Ohio Data

Bush's Vote Margin Widened Considerably from 2000:
                              2004       2000     Increase
VOTES
Bush/Bush             66,523     48,318
Kerry/Gore            25,399     19,142
All Votes Cast        93,231     70,109     33.11%
Bush Vote Margin   41,124     29,176     40.95%
Reg. Voters          125,165     96,536     29.66%
The 2004 Bush vote margin over the Dem Candidate increased from the year 2000 by 11,948 votes.

Census 2000 indicates that there were 114,511 people living in Warren County above the age of 18.

If you look at the precinct data for Warren County, you will see many precincts where the turnout exceeds 80%.  Now that's some turnout. Every 8 out of 10 people of voting age and registered in those precincts voted.

From Brad Blog:
Warren 92,251 votes - Bush: 72.1% Kerry: 27.53%

There were only four counties with a higher percentage vote for Bush, and they all had 22,279 voters or less:

These are two sources for results with similar numbers.

Warren County Commisioner Pat South - who is she? WC officials said an FBI agent told them that Warren County ranked a "10" on a terrorism scale. However, state and federal homeland security officials said Tuesday they were unaware of any specific threat against the county. Why the fuck would Warren County rank a 10 for terrorism? What bullshit and Pat South needs to be called on it hard!

  •  Who counted? (none / 0)

Who secretly counted those Warren County votes? Their names and background should be investigated.
  •  the recount will happen (none / 0)

and that is the best news.

i doubt in the end we'll be able to prove fraud this time. MIT just put out an analysis that concluded no evidence of fraud, but the recounts in NH and Ohio will either end the discussion or blow it wide open.

it is strange how the MSM has avoided the topic of the warren county lockout even as they have begun 'debunking' the fraud charges. it seems they only focus on what they can disprove, and won't go near warren county with a 10 foot pole.

    bush or no bush
paper trail by 06 and no spread of paperless touchscreens in the interim. i can accept a loss if i know there is a physical record of every ballot.

  •  ROVE MADE THE CALL (none / 0)

Rove made the call. "We need 10,000 more votes in Warren County. OK ,call a terror alert - nobody's watching, now pad those numbers - we'll owe you one."
    •  Possible (none / 0)

Nothing is unimaginable - do we know who these people in Warren are?  Why Warren?
      •  spaeth (none / 0)

i read some chatter of at DU that said leslie or marie(can't remember) is a warren county official(commisioner i think). Spaeth. that name ring any bells?

This has to be a conspiracy! A terror alert - the last county reporting - extremely high turnout! If unravelled ,it could lead directly to Rove.Let's get some frickin' investigating on this!
  •  Well a recount SHOULD tell unless.. (none / 0)

during the lockout they actually hatched a plan to fake 10,000 new ballots. Unless they were willing to go to that extreme it would make no sense to even begin down this road.

Although this county is as red as it gets there actually was a 4-5% increase in Democratic registration from 2000-2004. From a measly 7.7% to 12%. So if anything Bush's understandable large margin should have narrowed, not increased. These new voters didn't register as Dems in order to vote for Bush.

Considering that statewide Bush's margin narrowed 2-3 percent from 2000 it is a bit unbelievable to say it would have increased 2% in  a county that has seen a 4% increase in Democratic registration in the last 4 years.

  •  Re : "Debunking" (none / 0)

    The debunking has been debunked.
  •  What method (none / 0)

Does Warren county use?  From some of the other diaries, it sounds like anyone who pays a certain amount can recount a county (once they're done with the original count, of course.)

If this was done using punch cards or optical scan and the ballots are under seal somewhere, this could be an important first step.  It's probably "hard work" to fake 20,000 of those in a short time frame.

Is anyone taking up the mantle that any paper ballots (optical, punch scan) must be thrown into a sealed vault somewhere until the count is done?

  •  Just a little background (none / 0)

I live down the road from Lebanon, the seat of Warren County.  My Mom lives in Lebanon.  When I would go to her house, I was stunned by the number of Bush signs compared to Kerry, including in her yard (made for some tense conversations between us).  Honestly, I don't doubt that they are that rabid of Republicans.  This is the town where that picture of Bush hugging  Ashley, whose mother had died in the WTC attacks, was taken.

Warren County has experienced huge growth in the past decade, due to its proximity to Cincinnati.  The growth has been in mostly upper incomes.

I don't know Pat South and can't imagine any reason why the area would be under a terrorist attack threat, although I now hear them say they were told it would be a domestic attack, not international.  Still, why it would be more likely than anywhere else in Ohio, I don't know.

I sure wish it were possible for me to escape to a blue state, or even a blue area such as Yellow Springs, Ohio, at this time.  It's hard to listen to the crap that's espoused around here.  Luckily, I like to argue and have lots of facts at my disposal to do so.
