Coming off of the GOTV success of the anti-gay marriage initiaves this past election cycle, the Republicans are gearing up for more in 2006.

Conservatives who were emboldened by last week's winning ballot measures that ban same-sex marriage in 11 states have already begun new efforts to place similar amendments on the ballot in 2006.
This second wave has been concentrated so far in Idaho, Florida, Texas and Washington, D.C.

Presumeably, the Dems will have to just grin and bear it and hope the Republicans don't ration out these initiaves/amendments until 2008.
