NowNews - Not just Dems crying "fraud"

Mon Nov 15, 2004 at 09:39:50 PM PDT

Sour Grapes? I got two hangin'. But it's not just your garden variety Democrats crying foul. The vote fraud issue has created some strange bedfellows. Here's some recent news items:

A Belleville Republican fighting the "Democratic Machine"
Reeb vows to fight vote fraud
Candidate raises funds for his efforts
Where's Belleville?

Lyndon LaRouche: Fascist Demagogue
also speaks out against dirty tricks

And we all know New Hampshire is about to become a test case for the accuracy of optical scan vote-counting machines - thanks to Third-Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader.

Libertarian Party candidate Michael Badnarik joined Green Party  candidate David Cobb who announced yesterday that his campaign has raised enough money to force Ohio to recount its presidential vote.

  •  Yes, but... (none / 0)

Otherwise, great post.  But should we ever quote Lyndon LaRouche in support of a Democratic interest?  Not that everything he says has to be untrue, but there is an ad hominem dirty feeling on my skin after even reading that here.  I mean OK, if he comes up with something like  "We hold these truths to be self evident..." There is already an automatic tin foil hat accusation primed for any fraud accusation.  Quoting dear old Lyn is hard to swallow and easy to attack.

I have no problem with Reed. If he gets anything let that be a precidence concerning voter intimidation. Vote fraud and intimidation in not a partisan issue. As far an Lyndon is concerned I only ask him to send money. If you read the article with Lyndon you will see some good stuff down in the column.
