Zogby's final call

Tue Nov 02, 2004 at 02:23:15 PM PDT

Kerry 311 Bush 213.

NV and CO too close to call. This seems about right to me. Nice of him to wait until two hours before the freaking polls close.

Here is hoping he is right. It's time to start the celebration.

I as of yet have not seen one reason that we have anything to worry about. AM I being over cocky or realistic?

  •  Not to pick on you... (4.00 / 2)

BUt you and EVERYONE HERE is overly optimistic.

THe reason is simple enough: BuShCo will not give up until every trick is used.

Make a call to someone in a swing state right now!!

  •  OH and FL (none / 0)

I am scared senseless these two states could go red, either by vote, or by GOP theft.

A student of mine, who's mom is part of the Kerry campaign here in NH, just called his mom.  She said things look good for Kerry in NH, but that some voting machines in FL are "off line" whatever that means.  It was in the same place there were problems in 2000, according to this kid.

Egads, what will we wake up to tomorrow?

I'm not sure why everyone here at Kos seems so confident.  If we don't win either OH or FL we are screwed.  Someone cheer me up?!

That for the election to be called tonight either Kerry wins OH and FL by more than 3%, or kerry wins outright without those 2 states so that it makes contesting those 2 states irrelevant.

Optimistic that big voter turnout will turn some close states for kerry.  When I see 2 states that were for bush go for kerry, then I will relaz.  OH and FL are not going to decided tonight.

  •  It's just like the Red Sox (none / 0)

I'm born and bred in Boston. I love Kerry. But this is just like the Red Sox--- I don't care how far we're up. I've got this uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach until the end of the 9th inning.

  •  Gergen and Schieder giving it away (none / 0)

    1. Schnieder says tha economy was number one issue and that 1/7 of voters didn't vote in 2000.

    2. Geren says that this bodes well for Kerry.

they have seen the exit poll numbers and they are giving it away.

    Kerry wins big!
