BREAKING! Ukrainians Say NO to Election Fraud!
I'm surprised that the current situation in the Ukraine hasn't received more discussion here on KOS:
Yushchenko Supporters Surround Ukraine Govt Offices
Hundreds thousands of people rallied in the streets of the country's major cities and many regional city councils voted to recognize Yushchenko as a president...
Votes in Donetsk and some other regions in eastern part of the country were probably falsified, Yushchenko and international observers said.
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe said there was evidence the Nov. 21 vote was rigged...
Question: Do Ukrainians value their democracy more than we do?
Why aren't we organizing an immediate mass protest, considering the horrible fraud perpetrated here (like one voting machine per hundreds of democratic county voters)? I thought it was very telling that the discrepancy between the exit polls and the results was taken as evidence of fraud in the Ukraine, but dismissed here as a faiure of the pollsters. SCLM! What size of protest would it take for the government here to listen?
