His name was Ian Plank, and he was a Corporal in the British Royal Marines. He was killed on October 31 by hostile fire in Iraq.
I took a long, hard look at this picture, and many of the other hundreds of other face shots of American, British, and Coalition troops who have been killed in Iraq. These pictures are the reason why I oppose Bush. His inept handling of this situation cost Ian Plank, and all the other troops killed in action, their lives.
I believe anyone who feels the same way should also look at the pictures of our troops still over there, and read their words, and remember that they oppose Bush because they don't want to see any more of our young men and women return home in body bags. That is a position which no amount of political posturing can counter.
