Jay Rosen has a wonderful article that if you haven't read, you should. Thinking about things like this, made me think about Social Security and debunking this whole myth that there is a crisis.
Towards achieving those ends, could you please use this thread to post links to stories about the solvency of Social Security. If you would like to see if an open source research post could be successful please recommend and link to the stuff you've been reading. If you have talking points, please post them with links in the comments.
To participate in this open source research experiment, you can either recommend this diary or post a link.
Once you've recommended and posted links to the articles you like, then please use the comment ratings to "vote" for the links you like best. If you post a link to a great story, you'll be rewarded with mojo. And it acts as something of a focus group to test which arguments on solvency are the most effective. I want to know the best link for people to visit and learn that there is no crisis. Thanks for giving this a try.
