For example, they offered a 403b plan (a 401k for schools) for all employees and they matched dollar for dollar up to the max. They also automatically put in the equivalent of 5% of your paycheck into your fund regardless of whether you participated or not.
The benefits were incredible; but the policy that they held with regard to pay and pay-increases was the best I'd ever seen...
Isn't that amazing? It is so simple, yet as fair as can be.
So it got me thinking: Why can't Congress adopt this same policy to the minimum wage? Every time Congress votes to give themselves a raise, they jack up the Minimum Wage by the same percentage increase.
I think that this would be such a great platform for the Dems to take. Besides, anyone who votes against this policy would look like a total greedy schmuck!
