So, here I am procrastinating in peace, perusing some Boston Globe news, when I found
this.
Choice grafs:
WASHINGTON (AP) Sen. Joe Lieberman, who ended his bid for the White House last month, urged John Kerry and President Bush to transcend ''rigid and reflexive partisan politics'' in the presidential campaign so Congress can work to bring peace to Iraq and stop terrorism.
''We cannot allow a singular quest for electoral victory to impede the more universal and important quest for victory over terrorism, a victory that will enable the American people to feel fully secure again here at home,'' Lieberman said in his first major speech to the Senate since he pulled out of the presidential race on Feb. 3.
The Connecticut Democrat said he's not optimistic that the parties can work together during what many predict will be one of the nastiest campaigns yet. Strategists in both political parties are ready to inflame their supporters ''with ideological tinder and brutal personal attacks,'' he said.
With a virtual lock on the Democratic nomination, Kerry has kept up a steady drumbeat of criticism against Bush for weeks, attacking what he has called the incumbent's ''inept'' policies in Iraq and the country's growing deficit.
''I don't think George Bush knows what's going on in the real America,'' Kerry said in a recent speech.
Excuse me Joe, but fuck you. You lost. Your message of accomodation to the rape of America by the Bushies was discarded by the voters like a used Kleenex used to clean up some drunken hobo's vomit. Remember? That was like , what, a month ago or something? You didn't win shit, remember that? Right. How about "Joementum"? Remember THAT crap?
And now, YOU have suggestions for Kerry? Tell you what? Shove'em up. We REALLY don't need your ideas.
By the way, I like how you focus on W's (supposedly) strong areas, and ignore the economy, job creation, culture wars, etc.
Screw you.
