Best Result?

Once the Republican Leadership had decided that the FMA was going to be debated in the Senate, is this the best result that we could have hoped for?

•  NO

  The best result is if the damn thing would have come up for a vote.  Then we could have found out which Republicans wanted to go on record as being haters, and just as importantly, which Dems are too cowardly to take a stand.  This amendment was a turkey from the beginning with no chance of passage.  All this vote really means is that the Senate didn't want to be put on the spot with this thing.
