Knowledge and Feeling, or Intelligence of any kind, are great gifts and come with great responsibility.
If you have understood something, you bear the burden of it's understanding - and by extension, a duty towards it's expression.
This is as true in politics as it is in art or science.
Like in art or science, communicating in language the essence of an object or idea is difficult, usually requiring years of practice and study - and often, when achieved by those who have gained some mastery, is underappreciated.
Making "it look easy", is something that "true disciples" of any subject do. Their work
doesn't point to itself, in fact, self aggrandizement is often a hallmark of the second rate.
There are occasionally exceptions to this rule. Frank Lloyd Wright was one. And ultimately the only test of an idea or creation's value is the thing itself - through it's manifestation or function it reveals it's worth.
Don't get me wrong - language is a two way street, it requires understanding from it's beneficiary. An idea's time must come before it is appreciated. Success in this regard requires an accurate perception of the consciousness of one's intended audience.
It is frequently the case that what come to be the highest regarded works of geniuses are not acknowledged during their lifetimes.
If there is an equivalence in the social organization of man. In government. In the affairs of state. I hope I live to see at least a little bit of it's brilliance manifest. Certainly liberal priciples fully realized must shine with the same bright light as the Mona Lisa - and hopefully will one day afford people the same enjoyment.
Until that golden age I suspect we'll all have to try and live through the current administration's deadly cures.
