This is a labor of love for me. There have been so many good Martin Luther King, Jr. diaries this past week - and such a need for the spirit and philosophy of Dr. King to speak to our nation right now - that I got inspired to devote a diary to cataloging all of the hard work and sweat dKos bloggers have spent on their own individual tributes to Dr. King.
Check out categories and diaries below the fold. My thanks to Tom Kertes for the many links he provided in his diary.
Note on the listings: unlike some "diary of diaries", I have decided not to personally comment on these diaries. I believe the diarist's words should stand on their own. All diaries are grouped by categories, and within the categories they are listed alphabetically.
The sheer mass of excellent writing on Dr. King, including long, philosophical diaries and shorter quips and observations, shows the dKos community's commitment to Dr. King's legacy. It is a testament of what our values are and how we view our country and our future.
I am very proud of everyone in this blog for writing their thoughts and reflections on Dr. King during this holiday, and keeping his dream alive. If I have missed your diary, it was an unintentional oversight and I encourage you to post it in this thread. I also, anyone who wants to plug their new MLK diary, or point out an inspiring article they've read today on King, to post a link in this thread as well.
